Kids & Critters SUMMER CAMPS

June 2nd – June 4th | Monday through Wednesday | 3 Half-days | $200
Kids & Critters: Explore the basics of animal welfare! Our half-day mini camps are designed to foster the development of safe animal-handling skills, inspire careers with animals, and empower kids to make a difference in the lives of animals in our community. Campers will have a pawsitive summer break, engaging in interactive animal-themed games, activities, and guest presentations. Kids will enjoy plenty of hands-on interaction with shelter animals, including our ambassador guinea pigs! It’s a unique opportunity for your child to have a doggone good time expanding their knowledge of animal care, welfare, and safety in a fun and interactive environment

Discover the exciting world of animal care and explore careers that make a difference in the lives of animals! In this hands-on camp, you’ll learn essential animal care skills like feeding, grooming, and understanding animal behavior while meeting the amazing pets at the Longmont Humane Society. From veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators to zookeepers and humane educators, we’ll dive into the many career paths that involve helping animals. Through fun activities, guest speakers, and behind-the-scenes experiences, campers will gain practical skills and inspiration to turn their passion for animals into a future career. Perfect for aspiring animal advocates and young animal lovers alike!

Cancellation: Must be made via email or phone no later than one week before the first day of camp in order to receive a full refund. After this date there will be no refunds.
Campers must bring their own lunch, snacks, and a water bottle from home – no food or snacks are provided. No supervision is available outside of camp hours.
