Our birthday parties offer a unique and memorable experience for guests of all ages. With dedicated time with animals, themed activities, and customizable options, your celebration will be a hit.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Cost: $250
- Guests: Up to 15 children (adults/ parents not included)
- Additional Guests: $10 per guest over 15 (maximum of 30 guests)
- Deposit: A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at booking (applied to the final cost of the party)
- Room: Includes a private room with companion animal-themed decorations.

Warm Welcome
Guests are greeted by our Humane Education Coordinator in our private party room with music and craft ready to go, setting the tone for an exciting celebration!
Shelter Tour
Participants enjoy a guided tour of the humane society, learning about the animals and the care they receive.
Party Time
The celebration continues in the party room with cake and refreshments brought by you. This is a perfect moment to unwind and enjoy the festivities.
Animal Interactions
Depending on availability and the group’s dynamics, guests may have the chance to interact with small mammals, cats, and possibly even meet some dogs. Participants are NOT required to partake in animal interactions and the event can be tailored to your groups’ specific needs. While specific interactions cannot be guaranteed, we ensure an unforgettable experience filled with laughter and discovery.
Themed Activities and Decorations
We provide animal-themed activities and decorations to enhance the celebration atmosphere. We provide tables, chairs, and compostable tableware.
Birthday parties at the Longmont Humane Society balance fun and education, leaving children delighted and inspired by their time with the animals.
Birthday Party Booking Process
- Complete the form below.
- Submit a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
- We will get in touch within 72 hours to confirm details.
- Finalize guest count and additional options at least 48 hours before the party.
- Pay the remaining balance on the day of the event.

- Fridays, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Saturdays, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm OR 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
If you do not see a drop down option for the date/time you were hoping for- it has already been booked! We recommend parties for children ages 6 and older. There is no maximum age for parties, even 102-year-olds love animals!!
All guests must follow our animal interaction guidelines for a safe and enjoyable experience. These guidelines will be explained at the party so all participants understand them.
Optional Add-Ons
Best Friend Stuffed Animal Adoption: $10 per guest
At the end of our tour, it is announced that all guests get to “adopt an animal” to bring home with them. After a few moments of excitement, it is explained that it’s a stuffed animal, which always gets some giggles. But don’t worry—they’re still totally pumped to pick out their fluffy new friend!
