Brotherbird Foundation and Longmont Humane Society presents Kindness Unleashed!
What does it mean to be a good friend to animals? At Kindness Unleashed, kids can explore that question through fun, hands-on activities that build empathy, encourage curiosity, and teach them how to care for the animals who share our world. From understanding what animals need to feel safe to learning how to treat them with kindness and respect, this is an opportunity for young animal lovers to turn their compassion into action.
One of the best ways to learn about kindness is to experience it firsthand! Kids and families can meet and interact with adoptable dogs from Longmont Humane Society, putting what they learn into practice while getting to know some very special pups. You might even meet your future best friend! Whether your child already knows every dog breed by heart or is just beginning to discover their love for animals, there’s something special about learning to see the world through an animal’s eyes.
The fun doesn’t stop with the learning! Stick around for live music from The Mountain Duo, grab a beer for the adults, and enjoy free food while the kids explore and make new discoveries. It’s a chance for the whole family to spend time together, connect with your community, and celebrate all the ways we can make the world a kinder place for animals. We can’t wait to see you there!
