How to adopt a pet
If you’re interested in adopting an animal featured on our website, please give us a call at 303-772-1232 for more information or stop by during our open hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, and Friday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. To allow ample time for adoptions and visits, please begin these processes before 5:30 pm. Remember, a current photo ID is required for everyone over 18 for animal visits, adoptions, and surrenders.

Animals may also be placed on “hold”. There is a $30 non-refundable, non-transferrable fee for placing a hold on an animal. The hold fee is used to help care for the animals and does not apply towards your final adoption fees.
