After losing my beloved 16-year-old dog I thought becoming a foster volunteer for Longmont Humane Society would help me heal; little did I know how it would change my life!

Pretzel has a medical condition that required her to be in my care for a number of months and I fell head over heels for her. She is a truly joyous and loving girl and we are lucky to have her in our family!
