We adopted Maya (formerly Selki) 2 years ago. We were looking at expanding our family and visited Longmont Humane Shelter just to get ideas of what kind of personality we were looking for.

We met Maya and instantly fell in love. She did not feel the same. She was very shy and timid and did not want to be around anyone. After a couple weeks at home she started seeking out attention and has since become the biggest cuddle bug and sweetest, loving girl.

Our family wouldn’t be the same without her.
