Adoption Update: Lexi

Lexi had a sleepover with our 10-year-old daughter who is a proud Longmont Humane Society volunteer. We all fell in love with Lexi (our daughter’s tripod dream dog), and the overnight became forever. After deciding to adopt her, we later discovered our 10-year-old had been writing an essay on why we should adopt Lexi the tripod dog! ❤️

Lexi is super gregarious – she adores people, other dogs, and beautiful walks in nature. She is great with our three children. She loves all the kids in our neighborhood, and during the school year was a big bus stop hit!

Having one less leg does not stop her. She is strong, playful, and fits in perfectly with our family as a camping dog. She enjoys hikes with us. Although Lexi is already such a good girl, we are all having fun training together.

We are thankful to the Longmont Humane Society for bringing Lexi into our life, and for providing volunteer opportunities so our daughter, and others who share her passion can experience working with homeless animals.
