Closed Tuesdays
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Please note: To allow ample time for adoptions and visits, these processes must begin before 5:00 pm. In addition, a current photo ID is required for everyone over 18 for animal visits, adoptions, and surrenders.

If you are interested in adopting please come by during our regular business hours – no appointment is necessary.

Lost or Found Pet

If you have found or are looking for a lost pet, no appointment is necessary. Please visit our Intake/Lost & Found Desk during regular business hours.

Surrendering a Pet

If you are considering surrendering your pet, we may be able to help by providing resources to help keep or re-home your companion. If you must surrender your pet to the shelter, please call (303) 772-1232 or email info@longmonthumane.org to schedule an appointment. Surrender appointments are available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. daily.
