Dog Training at Longmont Humane Society
Training During COVID-19
Please note that LHS is currently unable to offer in-person training. However, providing support to improve your dog's behavior and help to strengthen your relationship is something that remains incredibly important to us. In order to continue offering our training & behavior services during this time, we are offering an entirely virtual alternative to including private training video sessions, online obedience courses as well as mini-courses.
For information on all virtual obedience course and mini-course options, please visit our Public Training Online Platform here!
To schedule a virtual private training session (via Zoom), please email our Public Training Program Coordinator to discuss availability, email@example.com
Our highly skilled professional trainers are dedicated to helping you teach your dog better behaviors and habits. We are balanced trainers and advocate a scientifically based, dog-friendly approach that is effective for all dogs, regardless of breed, age, or prior training. Balanced training is based on the application of learning theory. It embraces praise and positive motivation to encourage successful and enjoyable training for both the dog and handler while also communicating to dogs when behaviors are inappropriate.
