Summer Fund-Race & Paws in the Park

Fund-Racers, Start Your Computers!

Longmont Humane Society’s Summer Fund-Race is here, and we need YOU to lace up your virtual fundraising “shoes” and join the race to reach our $50,000 goal! And here’s the best part – no actual running shoes required! 🚫👟

With just a few clicks, you can set up your very own personalized fundraising page and kickstart your journey to championing our cause.

  • Name your Fundraiser, create a tagline, and tell folks why you are fundraising – make it personal!
  • Upload a picture of you, your pets, or your team.
  • At the bottom of the registration page, you can join or create a team if you are fundraising with friends.
  • After you complete your page, you can edit as you like and add more photos.
  • Share your fundraising page on social networks – there is a button on your page to share directly to Facebook for easy donations.
  • Get personal. Personalize each ask by sending individual requests or group people together – co-workers, friends, family – craft a message that speaks to them.
  • Email a link to your page to family and friends who love animals, too.
  • Generate some fun by offering to share pictures of your pet doing something fun or quirky ever time someone donates! (“Support Catnaps” Fundraiser posted pictures of napping kitties for every donation they received.)
  • Raise $100 and your entry in Paws in the Park is FREE!
  • Win a special treat for a shelter pet when you raise $150! We’ll share a video of the lucky resident enjoying their treat.
  • Score a cool tumbler when you raise $200!
  • Get a special edition t-shirt when you reach $250.
  • Win a VIP ticket to Oktoberfest when you hit $500!

Paws In The Park is a family-friendly 5k race and pet walk event, and a celebration at the “Finish Line” of our summer FUND-race for Longmont Humane Society. Admission is free, so come cheer for the runners and fundraisers, enjoy a pancake breakfast, and live music from Weirdgrass, an eclectic and entertaining local band! Registration for the race or walk can be done on site, and your registration includes breakfast, one mimosa, and an event shirt.

Race the course – or go for a casual stroll, around Roger’s Grove Park from Boulder County Fairgrounds. Whether you’re racing to win or walking with your four-legged companion, Paws in the Park is fun for everyone!

Make a difference in the lives of Boulder County’s homeless animals and register today! All proceeds go directly to benefit the animals of Longmont Humane Society.
