Longmont Humane Society, a Socially Conscious Shelter, provides temporary shelter to thousands of animals every year. Available Positions
Veterinarian ($5,000 sign-on bonus as of 5/2/2024)
Full-time, $99,840.00 – $145,000.00 annually
This person works closely with one of our two medical teams to ensure high quality care for a large volume of patients in our Socially Conscious shelter or our Well Pet Clinic.
Our new veterinarian will be motivated, able to work independently and support the philosophy and decisions of the organization while being effective in a fast-paced team environment, respectful to other clinic team members and management alike. This position reports to the Well Pet Clinic Manager or a Shelter Manager
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Full-time, $18-25 per hour
This position is responsible for a variety of duties, including: pre- and post- surgical care, monitoring anesthesia, administering medication, doing lab work, performing dentals, and operating digital radiology equipment.
Our ideal RVT will be comfortable performing pre-surgical exams, anesthetic drug preparation, as well as monitoring and managing anesthesia with input from our Veterinarians. Our new RVT will be motivated, able to work independently and support the philosophy and decisions of the organization while being effective in a fast-paced team environment, respectful to other clinic team members, and sincerely compassionate with both clients and patients. This position reports to a Shelter Manager or the Well Pet Clinic Manager.
