Play Yard Renovation

There’s no denying it—animal shelters can be stressful for dogs. To help ease that stress, we prioritize play and enrichment activities for all the animals in our care.

Play is essential for a dog’s overall well-being.

  • Engaging in play challenges a dog’s brain – preventing boredom and reducing the likelihood of behavioral issues.
  • Play helps dogs develop social skills. They learn proper behavior and become more confident and well-adjusted.
  • Regular play reduces stress, anxiety, and pent-up energy in dogs. It can improve their mood and decrease destructive behaviors.
